While most traditional creams contain about 80% water, Sweet Chemistry uses 30% less water in formulation to ensure the most efficacious levels of actives are included.
And when you have 4x the concentration of actives, it’s nearly impossible to end up with a white cream— ours is off-white due to the high concentrations of actives (too beautiful to cover up with color additives, so we didn’t).
Finally, an active ingredient is only as effective as its delivery system and liposome membranes are used for this purpose – ones that have both hydrophilic (water loving) and lipophilic (lipid loving) components for broad active delivery. -
